The beautiful Portland LDS Temple.
A church leader recently encouraged us (in a talk) to take our children to the temple often. So a few Sundays ago we went to the temple as a family and walked around the grounds. Spring was definitely in the air, it was fragrant and beautiful, and the kids loved walking around and seeing the flowers and water. Here are a few pictures.

I am so grateful to live so close to a beautiful House of the Lord. But more importantly, I am thankful to have been married for eternity in the temple, so I can be with my husband and children forever. What a wonderful comfort and promise!

so pretty! Can't help but think of all the times we went there on Sunday afternoons to visit the grounds as teenagers. Now you are taking your 3 kids!!! Time flies. Happy Birthday to your boys. The first year goes SOOO fast, too fast I think!
