Due to the bad weather and roads, we ended up staying Christmas Eve night at my parent's house. Since they were flying out of Seattle on Christmas day (for Nate's wedding) and didn't know how the roads would be, they ended up leaving the day before, so we got to take care of their house for them:). We wished they were there, though.
The first picture shows you how excited Spencer was to cooperate for pictures that morning. He didn't really even want to open presents, so Kylene got to open almost everything; she didn't mind, though! The poor kids opened their presents then we boxed them up, put them in the garage, and left to Maile and Parvin's house so Kyle and I could head to the airport for our flight to Las Vegas for Nate and Cami's wedding. We did let them take a couple of their small things, but they pretty much had to wait until the next Sunday night to really enjoy their Christmas gifts. (And since I had forgotten some of Santa's presents at home (oops!), he "left" them under the tree at our house, so they got to open more when we got home from our trip. Thank goodness kids are so willing to believe what you tell them (or at least what Santa tells them in a note)!
